WORKSHOP AT SHINE DANCE FESTIVAL
TOP 10 INTENSIVE
Participants will explore the language, technique, and industry of dancefilms.
Class will include practical advice and techniques on how to create dancefilms, and an overview of the interacting aspects of production such as choreography, cinematography, editing, art direction, and more.

PANEL DISCUSSION WITH SPECIAL GUESTS
FUTURE IN FOCUS
A conversation on entrepreneurship, personal and professional development. Each panelist has evolved from a young dancer to a unique and thriving adult making a positive impact in the arts, applying transferrable lessons from their dance performance, training and life experiences. We'll take the opportunity to learn more about their decision-making and action-taking post high school to learn more about how to build a successful dance business and carve a uniquely satisfying path in life.

Dancefilm Shorts & Documentary
A youth-curated screening of short dancefilms showing a variety of dance styles artistic and sociopolitical perspectives. An opportunity for an intergenerational reflection on dance, creativity and media - and to see dance on the big screen!
